The trailer songs

Confirmed: Trailer 1 in December 2023 was built around “Love Is a Long Road” by Tom Petty, a 1989 track that promptly exploded, with Spotify streams jumping roughly 37,000 percent after the trailer. Trailer 2 in May 2025 used seven songs, led by “Hot Together” by The Pointer Sisters, alongside a mix of soft rock, a Haitian konpa cut, some 80s pop, classic rock, and a country cue. Just remember, a song appearing in a trailer does not guarantee it plays on an in-game station. Trailer music and radio music are separate licensing jobs for Rockstar.

The 14 Extended Look songs

Confirmed: The big addition. The August 27 Extended Look carried 14 licensed songs spanning five decades, from 1970s soft rock to recent hip-hop, and notably four of them are 1980s records, the classic Vice City flavour. Rockstar has not tied any of these to a specific station, and has not published a timestamp sheet, but the songs themselves are confirmed by being in the official footage. That is a genuinely wide spread: Florida rap, Latin and Caribbean, 80s pop, soft rock, and modern house. Three of the 14 are club records, which matters for a reason we will get to in a second.

Confirmed: Here is a piece most casual fans miss. CircoLoco Records is a real record label, a joint venture between Rockstar Games and the dance-music brand CircoLoco, launched back in May 2021. It puts out actual music (recent releases include “World Is Empty” by Skream and Janson). So Rockstar literally owns a house-music pipeline, and it is heading back to a neon party city. Those three club tracks in the reveal start to look very deliberate.

Only Raw Records and the in-game music scene

Confirmed: Music is not just on the radio this time, it is woven into the story. Rockstar’s own materials confirm a fictional in-game label called Only Raw Records, run by aspiring music mogul Dre’Quan Priest and tied to Vice City figure Boobie Ike, with a rap duo called Real Dimez (Bae-Luxe and Roxy) as the lead act. Lucia has been shown wearing earbuds, and there are recording-studio scenes. That points to original, in-world artists whose songs could become part of the soundtrack itself.

The one station with an official footprint

Analysis: Only one station name has shown up in official Rockstar material rather than a leak: V-Rock, the classic rock station returning from the original Vice City, has appeared on official clothing. That is not a formal station announcement, but it is the closest thing we have to one.

The Leaked GTA 6 Radio Stations List

Now the part everyone actually searches for, handled honestly.

Leak (unofficial): A gameplay leak, the same CyberLeek footage that spread before the reveal, showed an in-game radio menu with real station names. This is worth more than the usual junk list for one reason: the footage contains Tate McRae’s “Sports Car,” a January 2025 song, which means the build is from 2025 or later, not the old 2022 hack. It is recent. But it is still stolen footage from an unfinished build, not a Rockstar announcement, so treat every name below as a leak that could change.

The returning names, V-Rock and eMotion 98.3, are the kind of nostalgia callback Rockstar loves, and a CircoLoco station lines up perfectly with the label they own. It all fits, which is exactly why it feels believable. Just remember that “fits” is not the same as “confirmed.”

The Artist Rumors: Drake, T-Pain and More

Rumor: A lot of names get thrown around as GTA 6 collaborators. None are confirmed by Rockstar. Here is where each one actually stands.

The Drake one deserves a special mention because it generates real search traffic despite having zero foundation. If a partnership that size were real, Rockstar would announce it loudly, because that is exactly the kind of marketing moment a publisher wants to own. Until then, it is a rumor.

Why Radio Matters So Much Here

A little context, because it explains the hype. In most open-world games music is background. In Grand Theft Auto it is world-building. Vice City sold a whole decade through its stations. San Andreas used its lineup to separate neighbourhoods. GTA 5 turned talk radio into some of the sharpest satire in the game.

For scale, GTA 5 shipped with more than 240 songs across 17 stations and grew from there. Given that Leonida is a bigger, modern take on Florida, with Latin, Caribbean, hip-hop, and dance all in the mix, it is fair to expect the biggest music package Rockstar has ever put in a game.

Radio is coming, full stop. Every mainline game has had it and its absence would be shocking. The shape is the interesting part. The Extended Look leaned on Florida rap, Latin and Caribbean sounds, 80s pop, soft rock, and house, and Rockstar owning CircoLoco Records makes a dedicated dance station look very likely rather than lucky. Expect the returning Vice City names to show up as nostalgia anchors, expect talk radio to come back because that is where the satire lives, and expect original in-world music through Only Raw Records to blur the line between the story and the soundtrack. The leaked list is probably close to the truth given how recent the build is, but “probably” is doing real work in that sentence, so we are holding it as a leak until Rockstar says otherwise.
